1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering or participating in the 1Youth 2Skills Entrepreneurship Scheme or accessing the 1Youth 2Skills Entrepreneurship Academy, you agree to fully comply with these Terms and Conditions as outlined by the Ministry of Youth Development, Anambra State.
2. Eligibility
• Participants must be between 18 to 45 years of age.
• Participants must complete registration and meet the selection criteria provided by the Ministry.
• Participants must have valid registration and login credentials to access training materials.
3. Participation Requirements
• Active participation in all training sessions, assignments, and projects is mandatory.
• Participants must attend at least 85% of all scheduled classes, webinars, or mentorship sessions unless excused officially.
• Non-compliance may result in removal from the program or loss of benefits.
4. Online Academy Access & Usage
• The 1Youth 2Skills Entrepreneurship Academy platform is to be used strictly for educational and training purposes.
• Login credentials are personal and non-transferable.
• Participants shall not share, distribute, or duplicate any training material, videos, or resources without written consent from the Ministry.
• Any misuse, unauthorized distribution, or resale of content will lead to legal action and disqualification.
5. Intellectual Property & Copyright
• All materials (videos, guides, templates, and documents) provided during the program or on the Online Academy remain the intellectual property of the Ministry or its authorized partners.
• Participants may use materials solely for personal development and business planningand must not reproduce or monetize the content without authorization.
6. Code of Conduct and Professionalism
• Participants are expected to maintain professional behavior both in physical training venues and online platforms.
• Harassment, abusive language, discrimination, or fraudulent activities will lead to immediate suspension and possible legal prosecution.
• Respect for trainers, mentors, fellow participants, and staff is mandatory.
7. Business Grants, Tools, and Start-Up Kits
• Business support, tools, or startup kits will be awarded only upon successful completionof the program, including submission of acceptable business plans and assessments.
• Equipment and grants are intended solely for business use to foster entrepreneurship and may be monitored for compliance.
• Beneficiaries may be required to sign additional grant or asset usage agreements.
8. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
• Post-training, participants agree to be part of a monitoring and evaluation process to assess business progress.
• Periodic progress reports, business updates, and site visits may be conducted by the Ministry’s team or appointed agents.
• Continuous support may depend on compliance with agreed guidelines and demonstration of business growth.
9. Data Privacy and Use of Information
• By participating, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of personal data for program administration, monitoring, and publicity purposes.
• The Ministry will ensure confidentiality and protection of participants' personal information in line with applicable data protection laws.
10. Publicity and Media Rights
• The Ministry reserves the right to use photos, videos, testimonials, and success stories of participants for promotional and reporting purposes, including social media, reports, and official publications.
• Participants waive any claims for compensation regarding such usage.
11. Disqualification and Withdrawal
• Any participant found guilty of fraudulent activities, misconduct, or breach of these terms will be disqualified immediately.
• Participants who wish to withdraw voluntarily must notify the Ministry in writing, stating valid reasons.
12. Limitation of Liability
• The Ministry of Youth Development is not responsible for business failures, losses, or liabilities resulting from participation in the program or implementation of business ideas.
• The Ministry provides guidance and support, but ultimate business success depends on the participant’s efforts and market dynamics.
13. Modification of Terms
• These Terms and Conditions may be updated, modified, or amended at the discretion of the Ministry. Participants will be duly notified of any significant changes.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
• These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
• Any disputes arising from this scheme shall be resolved amicably or referred to appropriate legal or governmental bodies for arbitration.
15. Agreement to Terms
By registering and participating in the 1Youth 2Skills Entrepreneurship Academy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
