1Youth2Skills Solution is the most impactful youth enterprise development model in Nigeria today. Our structured approach empowers youths through five critical schemes:
1. Apprenticeship Scheme
Trainees receive vocational skills training in 65+ fields, learning both the skill and the associated business. Inspired by the globally acclaimed Igbo Apprenticeship Model.
2. Entrepreneurship Scheme
Coordinated by UNIZIK Business School, this scheme offers 45 professional courses to ensure sustainable earning opportunities.
3. Cooperatives Formation
Trainees are grouped into cooperatives for business development, mentoring, and sustainability, fostering business clusters for economic growth.
4. Business Financing Scheme
Provides grants for equipment and soft loans for working capital, disbursed through Anambra Small Business Agency (ASBA).
5. Mentorship Scheme
Ensures new entrepreneurs are guided through the challenges of their first year, coordinated by UNIZIK Business School.
Our Achievements
- ✔️ 5,000 youths trained in the first phase, with N2 Billion in equipment grants and N2.5 Billion in working capital.
- ✔️ Over 80% success rate in business commencement and expansion.
- ✔️ 11,000 youths currently being trained in the second phase, with N3 Billion in grants and N4 Billion in soft loans planned.
- ✔️ Targeting 20,000 youths and 1,000 training centers in the third phase.
